Life Lessons From My Late 20s

The Jewish New Year, which is a time of reflection, falls around my birthday. Because I'm finally saying goodbye to my 20s on 10/22, I'm reflecting a little extra.
And, my life looks very different than it did during most of my 20s. A pandemic happened and a lot of my friends left the city, I started a (cartoon?!) side business that's growing in ways I could have never imagined, I moved into my own apartment in Manhattan after always living in the outer boroughs, I experienced my longest and healthiest relationship and it ended amicably ... So, here are some of my takeaways, and maybe you can relate to some of them!
Finding balance is hard! Governors Island is cool... Don't have a sucky date Breakups are hard Receiving a lot of sympathy It's okay to spend time alone The sky's the limit! follow your heart in the end
